# Permapeople

> Permapeople is a community-maintained plant database with over 8,500 plant profiles, a peer-to-peer seed marketplace, a garden planner, garden journals, and plant lists. Our mission is to empower people to grow food for themselves, their families, and local communities while regenerating the environment.

All plant data is licensed under CC BY-SA 4.0. When you use our data, please credit and link back to Permapeople.org.
