New Mexico, USA
Tasty, drought and heat tolerant clumping perennial. White flowers smell like a combination of hyacinth, and surprise…garlic! Attracts so many butterflies and small pollinator wasps here in the desert SW. We love this tasty plant.
Tolerant of both sun and partial shade, and fits in well interplanted with annual food plants in a permaculture or polyculture garden.
Grown in the hot high desert SW, zone 8a, in marginally improved, very sandy clay using permaculture and organic, low-nitrogen methods.
