Garlic planted against raspberries keeps them contained. Suitable for fall-planted hardneck garlic in cool temperate climate. Plant garlic no more than 6β apart in a row along the raspberry bed in late fall. When the raspberry attempts to push out suckers in the spring, it wonβt cross the wall of garlic. When the garlic comes out in the summer, the raspberry is too busy making fruit to spread.
