Description

A tall, erect mint-family perennial with square, often purplish stems and opposite, toothed leaves that are whitish beneath. Crowded terminal spikes bear pale-purple, pinkish, or occasionally whitish tubular flowers. The flowers provide nectar for bees and other pollinators.
