Flowers spring and summer. A hardy and reliable fast growing plant, suitable for most soils and climates. Particularly suited to temperate and sub-tropical areas.

Proeacea family - related to banksias and grevileas. Fruits are hardy, produced in leaf axils rather than at tips of stems. Never prune below where there is foliage. Pinch out the soft growing tips of new shoots regularly through the first two years and you build a dense, branching framework that cannot be replicated by later pruning alone.
