Rounded rainforest shrub, attractively veined foliage with leaves to 12cm long. Long flowering though spring and summer, with mauve-purple 5cm flowers. A sweet edible fruit which can be picked and eaten direct from the plant, but will make your tongue blue! Also attracts butterflies and bees (principal pollinators).
