Hairy Dewflower

Drosanthemum hispidum (Schwantes): A branching green ice plant with showy purple flowers. Its leaves are finger shaped and bend and sprawl to access more light as they grow. The whole plant is covered in tiny hairs, the finest of which are on the leaves. This fine hair gives the leaves a dewy appearance while the longer hairs on the stem give the whole plant a fuzzy look.
