Heartleaf nettle

Urtica chamaedryoides

Description

Low growing in sunny areas, likes disturbed soil. Very common around cattle feedlots in zones 8-9 southeast U.S.. More painful sting than other nettles. Opposite leaves, triangular to heart-shaped in outline, bluntly and coarsely toothed.
